ASR: The Goals
Affiliate Standard Reporting (ASR) goal is to simplify data and reporting procedures for added transparency, accuracy and profitability for both Operators and Affiliates
.
ASR Design Goals
Simplicity is at the heart of ASR’s design. Data already available in multiple reports is condensed and consolidated into two simple and useful reports – “Daily Activity Report” for daily reconciliations and “Period Invoicing Report” for end of month/period reconciliations.
Implementing the most tried and tested practices and tools allows for increased stability and reliability. ASR relies on HTTPS, JSON, Token-auth, and Webhooks.
ASR 1.0 leverages the latest technology to automate all data pull processes. Manual interfacing will be reduced to a bare minimum, meaning less margin for human error and shorter processing times.
By standardizing reporting as well as streamlining processes and design to a bare minimum, development, implementation, and maintenance costs are slashed.
With data ingestion and consumption increasing rapidly, data transfer channels need to be optimized for maximum effectiveness and reliability. ASR data transfer adopts a point-to-point system to reduce the risk of data mix-up.

ASR Report Goals
Daily Activity Report will provide aggregated clicks, registrations, and deposits as well as CPA and Rev Share commissions generated per marketing source and brand. Similarly, the “Period Invoicing Report” will provide Commission on CPA and Rev Share results per tracker and brand will display in both the Daily Report & Monthly Invoicing Report.
Whilst initial developments and implementations might not be able to support immutability, ASR reports are ultimately designed to be immutable, with adjustments reflected in subsequent period reports. This promotes fairness and transparency; affiliates will have access to all versions of the reports so they can track changes accordingly.
When a new report is issued, you’ll be notified through your interface in real-time. ASR adopts a subscription model that makes use of Webhooks. This way, affiliates can swiftly and effectively respond to business needs.
All reports including data and insights for all operators will be stored in a single and unified environment. Affiliates can tap into this collective data pool thanks to an API placed in their backend by system vendors. Affiliates will have their own unique API keys giving them full access at any time.

Short & Long Term ASR Goals
Right from the get-go, the goal was to have as many system vendors and operators on board as possible. And since ASR will be looking to evolve and refine over time, companies, and individuals who opt-in now will have the opportunity to contribute to the changes along the path going forward.
The ultimate goal is to make ASR the industry standard across all affiliate systems, and eventually, an open source for affiliates enabled by best practice technology. There’s no room for complacency as ASR will adapt and evolve over time to stay at the forefront of the market.
